Remix Rules & Procedure

Nice to have you on board for the Numbolic Remix Contest.
On this page you will find all the required infos regarding the Competition.
Please make sure you read the following instructions.

Contest Rules:

• Contest starts from August 5th 2011
• Contest closes on September 21st 2011 (new date)
  
• Only 320kb mp3’s wil be accepted into the contest (please keep in mind: winners will need to send an uncompressed wav file for mastering)
• Maximum of 2 remix entries per contestant
• Any artists who previously have released on Numbolic are not permitted to enter this remix competition
• Remix should be recognizable to its original version
• Genres/Style: get familiar with the Numbolic Style and be creative – we like it deep be Numbolic..!
• Besides using the original sounds from the supplied audio parts you can use your own sounds (Do not infringe anyone’s copyright: only use your own or royalty free/creative commons licensed material!)
• Please respect the artist and use the downloaded parts for the remix contest only!
• You must agree on the Terms and Conditions

Prizes:

• The best remixes will be released as part of an official Numbolic Remix Compilation (due to release by the end of October 2011)
• You can also win lots of Numbolic music (12″ vinyls or mp3’s) as well as Numbolic t-shirts, bags, lighters & stickers
• The winners will be announced 2 weeks after the Numbolic Remix Contest has been closed. We will make a new post right here on numbolic.wordpress.com. If you want to receive an instant notification in order to be informed you can subscribe to this Numbolic blog (see subscribe button on the right-hand side).

Jury:

• The winners will be decided by: creativity / music composition / quality of production / sound aesthetics
  
• Numbolic A&R and Numbolic core artists will pick the best remixes for the Numbolic Remix Compilation Release

Ok, to get started listen the tracks below. Pick your favourite one (or max. two) and use the dropbox in the Contact Form in order to require your corresponding remix parts. (Note: you must agree on Terms and Conditions before sending the message by clicking the checkbox)

Once you’re happy with your work Submit your Remix using our Dropbox. Deadline to send in your remix is September 21st 2011 (new date).
